Neal Shusterman to Visit Colorado Springs Library!
This awesome Colorado Springs librarian recently visited the store and shared that Neal Shusterman will be visiting Pikes Peak Library 21c on Thursday, 9/22/2022! Book presentation from 6:00-7:00. Book signing at 7:00. The library is located at 1175 Chapel Hills Drive, Colorado Springs, (719) 531-6333 x 7012. No registration necessary!
Along with my friends and fellow bibliophiles, Bonnie & Heidi, we will be making the trip to the big city to meet this favorite author. We hope to hear about his new book, The Gleanings: Stories from the Arc of a Scythe (release date: November 8, 2022) and have him sign as many of our other favorite Shusterman books as he’s willing.

November Book Club
Thursday, November 11 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 (ish) at The Cellar on Railroad next door to Once Upon a Trapeze Bookstore 301 E Main, Suite 170, Buena Vista, CO to discuss The Paris Photo by Jane S. Gabin. Check back her for the latest bookstore upcoming events.
We decided to read our last two picks of this first ever Once Upon a Trapeze Bookstore Bookclub season over a period of 2 months each (The Paris Photo – October/November and The Overstory – December/January). This one was a bit hard to find and, we discovered in October, was not a favorite amongst most of the group, even though historical fiction, especially WWII historical fiction, is. So we gave ourselves a couple of options: either finish up the second half of The Paris Photo (which can also mean “skim the second half of The Paris Photo”) and/or read another book in the same genre and we can share and compare over a nice glass of wine.
